Now I’m curious what he’d think about an e-bike.

Granted, it’s a slower class than Pennsylvania’s moped (25 mph, 1.5 hp) or motor-driven cycle (5 hp) class if it’s a legal e-bike (20 mph, 1 hp), but I believe it gets legal access to bike lanes and such.

This looks fun. I recently put one of those Chinese ebay moped kits on a bike. Which is fun. This looks much better.

I recently rode an E-Bike and it was a blast. Rode two different ones, one that cost like $10k and one that was like $2k. The $10k bike was absolutely bonkers. You pedaled once and it just surged you forward. Like the pedals were just connected to a sensor, and the actual motor pedaled you. The $2k model had the motor in the back, so it actually took a lot more effort, but going up hills and such was way easier. If I had the cash I’d get the $10k model obviously, but even the cheaper one was really fun and definitely would make biking more leisurely.
